Something I thought about:

  • This week was clearly going to be stressful, so I scheduled as many different things as I could that would keep me offline, creative, and connected. Work and life all continued, of course, but I was proactive about managing emotions and any anxiety — although my sleep got pretty wrecked partway through the week.

Something I did: 

  • The usual meetings and PMing
  • Went to my child’s final soccer game of the season
  • Virtually attended a BIPOC write-in
  • Went to book group
  • Went to a Zumba class
  • Went to mum’s night
  • Watched MLS soccer finals
