Something I thought about:
- A and I were talking about riding the edge of burnout — how both of us keep coming very close and how constantly being at that edge — even without going over — is exhausting. Even good things can sometimes tip you over if you have too much going on. So — trying hard once again to slow down. It’s tough when we’re all stretched thin. I guess that’s the American way?
Something I did:
- Baked banana bread
- Zeroed my inbox — it didn’t last long!
- More writing for work
- Data modeling
- Meetings
- Celebrated a family member’s birthday
- Got a haircut
- Went to see the play Beyond Words
Something I read:
- The Paris Review interview with Jhumpa Lahiri which was so interesting.
- "'A Passage to India' on Its 100th Birthday" by Sameer Pandya
