Something I thought about:
- Well, it’s been a week. I lost my voice for part of it and still tried to run a meeting. I was able to take things a little slower and did get some time to rest/recover, but the US is truly messed up. We all work while sick because we don’t want to use our few vacation days. I miss being able to get a doctor’s note and recovering as needed. None of this is the fault of my company — they’re doing the best they can — but it’s the reality of US life, and it’s an aspect I did not miss at all.
Something I did:
- Got sick
- Slowly improved
- Caught up on email
- Fell completely behind on email
- Juggled
- Went to a They Might Be Giants concert with the fam
