  • I’ve been writing and reflecting about workshop culture, toxicity, and the overdue pushback that’s been happening — specifically “I can kill you with my brain” critique vs. one that comes from a place of care.

  • I attended the Kweli Color of Children’s Literature Conference. This PW piece captures some of the spirit. It was truly excellent — exhilarating and inspiring (and exhausting with the time difference, but completely worth it!)
