Something I thought about:

  • I’ve been posting several of these at a time, late, to the weeks they were supposed to have been updated. Why? I’ve been busy, I’ve been running from one thing to another — the usual. It made me wonder if I should continue posting weeknotes, especially when I’m not sure that anyone actually reads them, and what I get out of them. Here I am posting one, which answers the question, I think. I've been too busy (and run down) for weekly reflection – let alone any kind of writing – and that's what I want to change.

Something I did:

  • Finished a second piece of embroidery
  • Went to book group
  • Did a demo
  • More meetings
  • A lot of debugging/onboarding/support
  • Figured out final sets of tasks & bugs for two upcoming launches
  • Picked up some trial contacts

Something I read:

  • Puzzleheart by Jenn Reese
  • Started another #KateBriggs2024 slow read project — How to Live Together by Barthes and The Long Form by Kate Briggs
  • Kept going with The Mirror and the Light and War and Peace
