Something I thought about:
- I ended up having a much busier week than I’d anticipated, and of course this is a long weekend, so I’m still struggling with routines and finding extended focus time. I also did not sleep nearly enough, which meant my focus was often shot during the day — or that it took me too long to get going. More sleep, more water, and more walks! Other than that, my brain was fairly occupied with town politics, which is not a great way to spend one's time. More writing, less peopling – at least until I can recover from the latest round. Ah, May...
Something I did:
- More physical labor — this time in the garden
- Finally repotted our plants
- Attended a PAC Meet & Greet at the middle school
- Went to a highly contentious and long Town Meeting
- Put together a summer reading list
- Facilitated/attended various meetings
- Worked on a couple of different sites
- Made two more trips to the library
- Watched a couple of soccer games
- Went to a matinée with a neighbor
Something I read:
- Finished Gaudy Night by Dorothy L. Sayers
- Finished Attention: Writing on Life, Art, and the World by Anne Enright
- Striding Folly by Dorothy L. Sayers
- Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus by Dusti Bowling
- More of Roots by Alex Haley (slow read)
