Something I thought about:
- This is the first semester/year in a very long time that I’m continuing on as usual, and my child is wrapping up the academic term. It’s strange, and I expect that this will continue to feel strange — especially in the fall. The week was packed with end of term events, and it was all quite lovely. We’ve all been feeling very grateful for my child’s school, coaches, and teachers and, more generally, for the community we landed in.
Something I did:
- Went to my child’s piano recital
- Caught up with my book group
- Attended various end of school year events
- A ton of unpacking, assembling, organizing, and cooking
- Watched some fun soccer games
- So much juggling between work and end of year things
- Usual project management
Something I read:
- The Secret Library by Kekla Magoon
- Not In Love by Ali Hazelwood
