Something I thought about:

• Well it’s been a week, hasn’t it? Child finished the school year, so the first half of the week was all about wrapping up and celebrating. The second half of the week was processing Supreme Court rulings and figuring out concrete actions that I can take.

Something I did:

• Worked on my diss
• End of school year activities/events
• Called my state reps

• The Mary Gaitskill essay that’s been making the rounds
• This George Saunders response about choosing between family and art is really lovely
