Something I thought about:

  • Climate change and infrastructure because of the situation in TX. I learned a lot about generators and installation options.

Something I did:

  • Swiss taxes
  • Write outside
  • Attend an amazing Zoom gathering of academic writers — it felt like finding my professional community, although we’re all in different fields.

Something I read:

  • I got another set of Bishop manuscripts and have been working my way through them. Although this isn’t relevant to my dissertation, I was extremely amused by her detailed cat care instructions. Sometimes the most evocative writing appears in unexpected places.
